A Thought for a Moment
All we are ever asked to do is live in the moment. Living that moment with all its possibilities, challenges, new beginnings, fears, and anxieties. The significant thing to remember is that in any moment we are never alone. God is always with us. Sometimes we do not find that easy to accept. But God's loving compassion can show itself in a lovely smile from a friend, in a gentle touch from an aging parent, in the excitement of your teenager who has discovered love. God scatters lots of loving moments our way everyday. So let us try to make the best of every moment, it may just be the time that God wants to whisper that He loves ypu.
Prayer
Loving God help me to live in the moment. Help me to be inspired by the love of my family and friends. Help me to glance and be renewed at the splendor of creation. Help me to make time for myself and be joyful for my gifts and talents. Help me to give thanks for the little things - the smile, the hug, the kind word. Help me to give thanks for the moments I experience your presence in my life.
